City of London Counselling
Our City of London counselling practitioners work from Albert Buildings, 49 Queen Victoria Street, London, EC4N 4SA. It is based very close to Bank.
The nearest tube stations are Bank and Mansion House. 4 minutes’ walk from Bank Underground station and a one minute walk from Mansion House Tube Station. See directions by bus here. The office is opposite a church and had brown wooden doors.
As there is no receptionist on at the building, it’s best to arrive at the time of the appointment when the therapist will be ready to greet you. Before 6pm you can press the buzzer for reception. After 6pm please wait outside the main door of the building and the therapist will come down at the time of the appointment to let you in. If you do arrive early after 6pm or at weekends when there is no reception, there are coffee shops very near by which will allow you rest and relax until the start of your appointment.

Jodie helped me to change the way I think about things- instead of seeing things negatively I see them more positively. She helped me to think about my relationships and how I blame myself all the time when things go wrong. I am now kinder to myself. Jodie helped my see things from a different perspective and helped me to change the way I see myself.
It was a good experience that really help me out with my issues, I felt very comfortable to talk about myself and the feedback was what I expected. Done it for the first time and will be back again to keep improving.
I have been very impressed with the Private Therapy clinic. An assessment of my daughter for ADHD was made efficiently and caringly. I was even moved to start talking with a psychologist myself for the first time in many years – it’s proving very interesting and yielding results already.
