Nazia Uddin is a highly skilled Assistant Psychologist and trainee therapist at Private Therapy Clinic. She has obtained a vast amount of knowledge from her academic studies and 3 years of Assistant Psychology experience. Nazia is pursuing the clinical psychology doctorate qualification, with the goal of becoming an HCPC accredited clinical psychologist.

Her areas of specialisation include anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, depersonalisation/derealisation, attachment and relationship difficulties, limerence, and ADHD coaching.

Education
Nazia’s graduated with a 2.1 Philosophy degree from the University of Reading, which served as the foundation for her transition into psychology. Passionate about helping individuals overcome psychological challenges, she pursued and completed her MSc in Psychology at the University of Westminster, where she earned a Merit. Her academic achievements also include a Distinction in her MSc dissertation, which explored the experiences and perspectives of ethnic minority trainees facing racial and cultural barriers in therapeutic training courses.
Nazia’s academic background has laid a strong foundation for her clinical practice. Her dissertation underscores her commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by minority groups in therapeutic settings.
