About Lillie Spencer Fletcher
Lillie Spencer Fletcher is a trainee psychotherapist currently completing a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regent’s University London. Her training is integrative, drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential approaches, which allows her to tailor therapy to the unique needs, experiences, and goals of each client. Lillie’s work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect for each individual’s story, offering a space where clients can explore their inner world, gain clarity, and work towards personal growth and healing.
Alongside her psychotherapy training, Lillie is continuously expanding her expertise through professional development in trauma-informed and somatic-based practices. She has completed additional training in approaches such as Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Compassionate Inquiry with Psychedelics. She is also undertaking The Sovereignty Way programme, which focuses on body-based trauma resolution, nervous system regulation, and relational repair. This diverse training allows Lillie to integrate both mind and body awareness into her therapeutic work, supporting clients in developing greater self-understanding and emotional balance.
Lillie holds a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Plymouth, where she graduated with distinction, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychedelics: Mind, Medicine and Culture from the University of Exeter. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Business from the University of Westminster, where her early interest in human expression and identity began. Prior to her current studies, she completed a foundation course in Integrative Psychotherapy at The Minster Centre in London.
Her professional experience includes working with The Private Therapy Clinic as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist, where she supported clients through triage assessments, provided guidance on therapeutic pathways, and developed her skills in active listening, risk assessment, and client care. Lillie has also volunteered as a crisis support responder with SHOUT, where she offered immediate and confidential support to individuals in distress, and as a psychedelic harm reduction volunteer with Zendo at Burning Man, assisting individuals through challenging emotional experiences in non-judgemental and compassionate ways.
Currently, Lillie volunteers with Switchboard, an LGBTQIA+ support line, providing affirming and confidential support around identity, mental health, and relationships. Her ongoing commitment to inclusivity and trauma-informed care ensures that all clients feel seen, respected, and supported regardless of their background or experiences.
Lillie’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that each person has an innate capacity for healing and self-understanding. She invites clients to approach therapy as a shared journey of exploration—whether that means making sense of life transitions, deepening self-awareness, or finding new ways of relating to oneself and others. Her goal is to create a space that fosters safety, authenticity, and growth, helping clients build emotional resilience and reconnect with their sense of meaning and possibility.
She is a student member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).
